Vicki's Pregnancy Top Tips

Pregnancy Top Tips

1. Freedom of Pregnancy. Go the cinema whiles you can-as a filmmaker with a 10 month old, getting to watch films on the big screen is a no no. Baby friendly screenings can be good but very loud!

2. The Birth. Try not to stress about the birth. Mother nature kicks in and whatever you’re faced with, you can deal with.

3. Seek advice-Don’t be scared to question your Gp with any of your concerns.

4. Take your vitamins. After the birth, take vitamin B complex before you go to sleep. It can reduce/eliminate nightmares as it helps to release energy slowly from your food, keeping blood sugar levels stable throughout the night. Will also help prevent you from feeling ravenous when you wake up for baby’s night feeds.

5. Exercise. I felt sick throughout my whole pregnancy but found walks in the park helped me feel fitter and would clear my mind.

6. Baby brain. Somehow pregnancy and post birth seemed to affect my memory so buy yourself a pretty notebook to write down the million and one things you’ll need to do now your baby’s arrived.
